In many social situations, social networking can assist the organisation of an event (such as a party, a family reunion, a sporting carnival, a wedding, a dinner party, a play group, a concert, a social club ect.). So lets just use the example of face book. More than 250 Million people world wide use face book. People use face book for a number of reasons but most importantly in this case, face book can be used to organise an event. Face book can assist the organisation of an event because it is easy, fast and a lot more simple then having to do it other ways such as writing invites out individually, telephoning, emailing and even door knocking. So using face book to make an event in my opinion is the best option for all people above the ages of 13, and if you where any younger I'm sure the parents would do all the planning of the event anyway (by using face book). Therefore if I was to plan a party the best type of social network I would choose is face book because I know that it would help me out and for those who disagree I'm going to show you just how easy it really is...

It is simple for a peer or partner to contribute to face book, if they are passionate about something for example (the kony 2012 project) then they can like the page or message the people behind the project, this will allow them to become an instant member and support what ever they are interested in!
